| | One week in boot camp has passed and I am still alive. Here is a lil' bit updates of my recent life.. Day one was fucked coz we were in our suits and it rained like shit. We were soaked from inside to outside. Fair enough, we didn't get assigned to our private rooms as there weren't any left for our squad! It was such a hot day, energy drained and sweated dry... Day two we started to adjust to it. It felt good to be in uniform - not because of how cool it looks, but because of the fact that the uniform weren't mine. Wetted? Stained? Wrinkled? Torn? --> Trash 'em. Did some footdrill training and did some marching. Luckily enough I was in scout troop and CCF so marching and drills weren't hard tasks. We were briefed about the overview of the course structure, I am worried by the academic part coz I am never good at studying...criminal law, procedures (there are NUMEROUS of them...)...you can't fail one exam, one time fail and you are fucked, that's it. Still it ain't all negative. I am looking forward to weapon training, resistant control, practical exercises and visits. The first week was much easier than I had expected...I hope I can cope. More laters... (left something outside of the camp but can never bring "it" in with me....no good no good..) |
